![]() We are a WWII Living History group that portrays the 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division. We have been in existence since 1994 and have grown to almost 2 platoons. We are based in California but also have members in Nevada, Oregon, Texas and abroad. We are members of the WWII Research and Preservation Society (WW2RPS) and the California Historical Group (CHG)- both of which are historical societies. In addition to conducting WWII battle re-enactments, we also set up static displays for the public at veteran events such as Memorial and Veteran Day parades. Some of our members can be seen on various episodes of the History Channel's "Mail Call", the music video for Chemical Romance's "The Ghost of You", as well as other television and motion picture productions. Aside from working on our presentations both on and off the field, much of our time is spent connecting with WWII veterans and their families. Through member donations, we have paid for veteran's trips back to Europe and escorted them as they retraced their steps in Normandy and Bastogne.
